Wood River Maintenance provides restoration services in Bellevue, Idaho, including water damage, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, radon mitigation and repairs. Based in Hailey a few minutes north, we work in Bellevue's occupied homes, from older frame houses to manufactured and modular housing, with containment, measured drying and written documentation.

What we do in Bellevue

The south valley needs the same complete restoration work as up valley, planned around a household that is still at home.

Water damage restoration

Water from a failed appliance, a frozen supply line or spring runoff needs more than a dry-looking floor. We trace where it traveled, extract it and measure the structure as it dries.

Mold remediation

Damp spaces beneath the house, concealed plumbing leaks and wet insulation call for a contained removal plan. We identify the moisture source before deciding what needs to come out.

Fire and smoke restoration

Cleaning smoke residue, removing lingering odor and repairing affected rooms stay with one crew. The scope follows the materials and damage in your home, not its address up or down valley.

Radon mitigation

Testing establishes the radon level; mitigation and a test afterward establish the result. Questions about the code requirements for a Bellevue property belong with the Blaine County building department.

Reconstruction and repairs

Once removal and drying are complete, we repair the flooring, walls, trim and finishes. An older frame house and a manufactured home need scopes that respect their different construction.

A working town at the south end of the valley

Bellevue sits a few miles below Hailey, where the Wood River Valley corridor opens toward farmland. Coming up from the south, it marks the start of the valley's town corridor; heading down, it is the last town along it. Our crew comes from Hailey, not from a Bellevue office, and this is one of the shortest runs we make.

This is a year-round town of full-time residents, rather than a resort market. Homes are generally more modest than those up valley, and the restoration work is mostly in houses that are being lived in. A drying plan has to account for meals, sleep and the next morning's routine, not just an empty floor plan.

We separate the affected room from the rest of the house and plan access around the work. Whether a family can stay depends on the loss and the assessment. Keeping a home functional matters, but it does not replace deciding whether the unaffected space is usable.

Different houses need different scopes

Bellevue's housing includes older frame houses as well as manufactured and modular homes. Plumbing routes, insulation and access beneath the floor differ between them. We look at the construction in front of us before setting a removal or drying scope; the plan for an up-valley condo is not a template for every south-valley house.

Crawl-space and skirting conditions are part of that assessment. Water under a house needs to be traced to its source, and wet materials need to be checked rather than hidden behind a repair. The home's construction shapes where we look and how we reach the damage without opening more than the work requires.

The Big Wood River runs through the south valley, and spring runoff affects ground around Bellevue as it does around Hailey. Thaw arrives a little earlier here than at Ketchum. For a home with recurring dampness beneath it, checking before the seasonal water arrives is more useful than waiting for another musty spring.

When to call us

  • Water is spreading from a supply line or appliance
  • A frozen line has started leaking as it thaws
  • Spring water has reached the space beneath your home
  • Skirting or crawl-space access reveals wet insulation
  • A room smells musty after the surface has dried
  • Flooring feels soft or a wall stain is growing
  • An inspection calls for mold or radon work
  • Smoke damage needs cleanup and a repair scope

Tell us what you are seeing and whether the household is still using the affected room. We will start with an assessment of the damage and the space around it.

I couldn't be happier with the work Wood River Maintenance did on my office. As a first-time homeowner tackling my first real project, I wasn't sure what to expect — but Hayden and his team made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. From the beginning, Hayden was thorough, communicative, and walked me through every step of the process. When an unexpected PVC pipe was uncovered from the previous owner mid-project, he problem-solved on the spot and kept me informed and confident the entire way through. That kind of transparency and professionalism is hard to find. The finished work speaks for itself — the wall and baseboard were patched and blended so perfectly with the original texture that you would never know anything had been touched. The attention to detail was impressive. Wood River Maintenance will absolutely be my first call for every project and facelift going forward, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Thank you Hayden and team — you exceeded every expectation!

Although there were some bumps in the road ( delay of shipment of materials, which was beyond his control) Hayden was a very good communicator throughout my repairs as was he true to his word. He also made sure that everything was quality work and was to my satisfaction. In addition, he was personable yet professional.
