Restoration reconstruction is the repair work that returns a property to its pre-loss condition after water, fire or mold damage has been removed. It covers framing repair, insulation, drywall, flooring, trim, cabinetry and paint. Wood River Maintenance handles it with the same crew that did the mitigation, so there is no handoff between the company that opened your wall and the company that closes it.

Why the handoff is the problem
In most restoration jobs the mitigation company dries the structure, removes what is damaged, and leaves. The owner is then holding an insurance scope and a list of contractors, trying to get someone to the valley to rebuild a room, during the season, at a price the claim will cover.
That gap is where restoration projects stall for months. We do not create it. The crew that documented the loss does the rebuild, which also means the scope that went to your carrier and the work that gets done are the same scope.
What the work covers
Structural and framing repair
Insulation and vapor barrier
Drywall, texture matching and paint
Flooring — hardwood, tile, LVP and carpet
Trim, baseboard and finish carpentry
Cabinetry repair and replacement
Tile and surround rebuilds after water loss
Matching is the whole craft
The measure of a good restoration repair is that you cannot find it. A patch that is structurally perfect and visibly obvious is a failure, because the owner sees it every day and so does a buyer's inspector later.
That means matching texture, not just filling. Matching a stain and a sheen. Feathering a floor repair into a run rather than stopping at a threshold. On an older Ketchum or Hailey house it often means matching trim profiles that are not made anymore.

I couldn't be happier with the work Wood River Maintenance did on my office. As a first-time homeowner tackling my first real project, I wasn't sure what to expect — but Hayden and his team made the entire experience seamless from start to finish.
From the beginning, Hayden was thorough, communicative, and walked me through every step of the process. When an unexpected PVC pipe was uncovered from the previous owner mid-project, he problem-solved on the spot and kept me informed and confident the entire way through. That kind of transparency and professionalism is hard to find.
The finished work speaks for itself — the wall and baseboard were patched and blended so perfectly with the original texture that you would never know anything had been touched. The attention to detail was impressive.
Wood River Maintenance will absolutely be my first call for every project and facelift going forward, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Thank you Hayden and team — you exceeded every expectation!

Although there were some bumps in the road ( delay of shipment of materials, which was beyond his control) Hayden was a very good communicator throughout my repairs as was he true to his word. He also made sure that everything was quality work and was to my satisfaction. In addition, he was personable yet professional.

Both, with the same crew. Mitigation and reconstruction are one project for us, which is the main reason people call us instead of a mitigation-only company.
That is the standard we work to. Texture, stain, sheen and profile all get matched, and on older houses we will source or mill trim that is no longer stocked.
On a covered loss, generally yes — the policy is meant to return the property to its pre-loss condition. We produce the scope and documentation your carrier needs, and we work within the approved scope.
It depends entirely on scope, from a few days for a single room to several weeks for a large loss. You get a written timeline before work starts and we tell you when it changes.
Yes. Many of our rebuilds happen in second homes with the owner elsewhere. We send progress photographs and keep your manager or caretaker in the loop.
Often yes, and it is usually the cheapest time to do it. The insurance scope covers returning the house to its prior condition; anything beyond that is a separate line we price for you plainly.
Yes. Financing is available on request. Restoration work is almost always unplanned, so if the timing of the cost is the obstacle rather than the work itself, say so at the assessment and we will go through the options and current terms with you before you commit to anything.
